Welcome to Homecare Technicians. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the website or services operated by Homecare Technicians ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
1. Service Agreement
Homecare Technicians provides repair, maintenance, and installation services for various home appliances. By booking a service through our Website, Mobile App, WhatsApp, Phone Call, SMS oe Email, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
2. Service Booking & WhatsApp Communication
- Booking: A booking is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation via WhatsApp, SMS, or Email.
- Consent: By providing your phone number, you expressly consent to receive automated service updates, technician's details, and promotional messages via the WhatsApp Business/Cloud API.
- Opt-out: You may opt-out of marketing messages at any time by replying "STOP" on WhatsApp, though essential service alerts (like appointment confirmations) may still be sent for active bookings.
3. Visiting & Inspection Charges
- A standard Inspection/Visiting Fee of ₹150 is applicable for every site visit.
- This fee covers the technician’s travel and the initial diagnosis of the appliance.
- If you proceed with the suggested repair, the visiting fee will be adjusted against the final labor charges.
- If you choose not to proceed with the repair after the diagnosis, the Inspection Fee remains mandatory and non-refundable.
4. Spare Parts & their Warranty
- Spare Parts: We strive to use genuine or compatible high-quality spare parts only.
- Spare Parts Warranty: Warranty on spare parts is subject to the manufacturer’s terms unless explicitly stated on the invoice.
5. Service & Labor Warranty
We provide a tiered warranty on labor and services performed, starting from the date of the service invoice. The duration depends on the nature of the repair:
- 90-Day Warranty: Applicable to major mechanical repairs and internal component overhauls (e.g., Chimney Motor re-winding, Microwave Transformer fixes etc.).
- 30-Day Warranty: Applicable to minor repairs and general maintenance (e.g., Minor wiring fixes, Software issues etc.).
- No Warranty: We do not provide warranty on plastic parts, glass components, rubber gaskets, consumables (like gas charging) or issues caused by external factors like high voltage/lightning/power surges or any physical damage.
Warranty Conditions:
- The warranty is valid only for the specific fault repaired by our technician as mentioned in the original invoice.
- The warranty becomes void if the appliance is opened or repaired by any third-party technician or the customer themselves during the warranty period.
- The original digital or physical invoice must be presented to claim a warranty service.
6. Payments & Taxes
- Full payment must be made immediately upon completion of the service.
- We accept Cash, UPI, and instant online bank transfers (IMPS).
- All prices are subject to applicable GST (Goods and Services Tax) as per Indian law.
7. Customer Obligations
- An adult (18+) must be present at the premises during the service.
- You must provide a safe working environment for the technician.
- You are responsible for clearing the area around the appliance to allow easy access for repair.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Homecare Technicians is not liable for any pre-existing damage to the appliance or surrounding property.
- While we take necessary precaution, Homecare Technicians is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of data (for computers/laptops), food spoilage (in case of refrigerators) or clothing damage (in case of washing machines) resulting from appliance failure before, after or during the repair process.
- Our total liability is limited to the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service in question.
9. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled appointment.
- We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances like technician illness, traffic, or extreme weather.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Faridabad, Haryana.
