Data Deletion Instructions

At Homecare Technicians, we respect your privacy and provide you with the ability to delete your personal data that has been collected through our website, WhatsApp Cloud API, or service inquiries from any digital channel. In compliance with Meta’s Platform Policies and the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023, users have the right to request the deletion of their personal information from our systems.
1. How to Request Data Deletion
To request the removal of your personal data (Name, Phone Number, Address, and Service History) from our records, to protect your privacy and to ensure we are deleting the correct records, please follow these verification steps:
- Email us at: Send an email to technicians.homecare@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."
- Verification Requirement: For security purposes, please send the email from the same email ID used during your service booking.
- Information Needed: In your email, please clearly state the Registered Mobile Number associated with your service account.
⚠️ Important Note: To protect our customers' privacy, requests received from unrecognized email addresses or those missing a registered mobile number may lead to request rejection. We must verify your identity before processing any data removal.
2. Information That Will Be Deleted
Upon receiving a valid request, we will remove the following from our active databases:
- Data Scrubbing: We will remove your Full Name and contact details (Email/Mobile Number) and your physical service address from our active CRM.
- WhatsApp Chat Logs: We will also remove your WhatsApp Cloud API communication & chat history logs stored on our local servers.
- WhatsApp Media: We will also remove, any photos or video sent for oncall/online appliance diagnosis.
3. Data We May Retain
Please note that we may be legally required to retain certain information for specific periods, such as:
- Invoices & Tax Records: To comply with Indian GST and Income Tax laws.
- Warranty Records: If you have an active 30/90-day warranty, we retain your data until the warranty period expires to provide you with support.
4. Processing Timeline
Once your request is received, our team will verify your identity and process the deletion within 7 to 15 working days. You will receive a final confirmation via Email or SMS once the process is complete.
